Network performance with VMWare Workstation 9 between VM

Hi there,

I am setting up for lab perspective an oracle cluster with 5 nodes  under OEL 5.6 + openfiler as a storage and a simple OEL 5.6 as dns server.

Works fine except the network!

I have 2 gigabit interfaces into my guest and I am fully using one with 3 VLANs created on 3 different subnets

Intel(R) 82574L Gigabit Network Connection

   VLAN 1: 192.168.1.60, 255.255.255.0,192.168.1.1

   VLAN 2: 192.168.102.10, 255.255.255.0,192.168.102.1

   VLAN 3: 10.76.0.10, 255.255.255.0,10.76.0.1

My dns server is under VLAN 1 and the trafic shown is low, less that 15%, when transfering a file using scp. The speed shows 9Mb/s max.

Is this is the best we can achieve??

What could we do to speedup a litle bit?
