Distributing virtual machines

Hello,

I work in the IT department of a company that has multiple employees who use VMware workstation and a few who use VMware player plus.

My question is, are we allowed to make virtual machines on a workstation license and then distribute these to the other people who use VMware player plus (and workstation)?
