I met a issue during install the USB printer in the VMware workstation . The circumstance is , host system is Win7 64bit ,VMware workstation version is 9.0.1. I had installed success the local printer to the host computer with usb virtual print port. But can not add the printer to the VMware workstation . when I click add the printer , the prompt message that the printer not added successfully , printer is using. Then, I set the host printer status to offline ,but the error message still persisted when added the printer . I don't know the VM how to use the host printer directly via the usb port.
