Private Network Between Two Hosts

Hi,

I have set up a lab using Workstation 10. I have been able to install and run two VMWare 5.1 ESi hosts. What I am trying to do that I have not figured out is to create a private LAN between the two hosts for VMotion use. All other networking is fine. I have tried each option in the network editor but I am not able to ping the other host B from host A. I have SSH into host A. I can ping the IP that I have set for vmotion on host A but not B.

I even took two free NICs and run a crossover cable between the two and assigned one of the free NIC to host A and the other free NIC to host B. Tried each type of networking and was not able to ping the other host.

Any help would be great.
