Vmware WSX server 1.0.2 Mouse Pointer Not Working

i am currently using windows 8.1 with vmware worstation 10. everything works great except the
"WSX SERVER" i can right click, left click and the keyboard works, but i cannot move the mouse pointer at all. however it functions perfectly in workstation, it is hosted from a windows 8 machine. please help. thankyou
