Can vmrun be used to control vmware workstation remotely?

Hi,

I have VMWare WorkStation 10.0.1 installed on a Windows 7 Professional 64-bit machine. I have created some vms using this workstation. Can I control these vms from a different machine (say another Windows7 machine or Ubuntu machine) using vmrun?

I've gone through the vmrun help and some of the discussions on the forums, but all of them point to running vmrun against a local workstation or a remote server.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
