I'm using workstation 10,and everything works fine, but when I make any VM run in background,I can't open it afterwards. When I click the VM in the library, nothing happens,no tab shows up.I've also tried "Open all background virtual machines"(right click menu of the tray),still nothing happens.Even "Shutdown all virtual machines" doesn't work, the tray still says 1 VM is running. The only way I've discovered to open the VM again is to terminate all vmware process in my task manager and delete *.lck files in the folder of that VM.I've also tried downgrading to workstation 9,but the issue still exists.I think this issue has something to do with my new computer, because I don't have this issue on my old computer. But I can't figure out what is wrong. My new computer(i3,4GB RAM) runs on Win7 x64,the old one(Pentium D,2GB RAM) runs on Win7 x86.Is workstation more unstable in x64?
Update:I think my problem is the same as this ,to which SirMaster did provide a solution, but it didn't work for me(See reply 5 below).
