Windows 7 began stopping the boot process on the "Advanced Boot Options" screen. I don't see why, I tried running the "Repair your computer" options, no problems found. It fully halts, no countdown, just hangs here until you select something. If I select "Start Windows Normally" or "Last known good configuration" it boots into windows, easy as you please. Shutdown, restart, and it hangs on the "Advanced Boot Options" screen again. I'm about to throw this computer through the nearest window. I need it to load into windows after I start the machine without extra input each time.
I've tried running (yes, from an admin cmd)
bcdedit /set {default} bootstatuspolicy ignoreallfailures
bcdedit /set {default} bootstatuspolicy ignoreshutdownfailures
bcdedit /set {current} bootstatuspolicy ignoreallfailures
bcdedit /set {default} bootstatuspolicy displayallfailure
bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled No
I'm losing my mind. Does anyone know how to tell windows to stop opening this every time it boots? It has to be some stupidly simple thing that I'm missing.
