usb issue in windows 2003 vm

Hi,

Host windows 8.1

vm    windows 2003 ent server sp2

vmware workstation 10.0.1 build-1379776

I created a windows 2003 ent server sp2 virtual machine.My issue is that no usb device is showing up in 'my computer' on the vm.

At the host everything is working fine.

I can see all usb devices under VM-->'removable devices',i can connect them to the vm but they dont show up.

In Device manager of my vm there is a yellow mark at 'other devices-> universal serial bus (usb)controller.

When i try to update the driver i get 'cannot update the driver,the wizard cannot find the sofware'.

Any help solving the issue,please.
