VMware Workstation 10 Shared VM will be killed on host shut down. Why?

Hi everybody

My problem is that a shared vm takes quite long to shut down, approx. 10 minutes. This VM is configured as a shared vm with autostart.

So I expect VMware Workstation to shut down the VM gracefully. However, if I shut down the host OS (Windows 2012 R2) it will take about 1 minute to shut down the computer.

At the next boot of this VM I'll be prompted to give a reason for the unexpected shutdown. This indicates that the VMware Workstation Server kills the VM during the shut down of the host OS.

How can I configure the VMware Workstation Server to wait for a graceful shut down of all VMs?

Thanks for any help
