Hi,
I am using VMWare Workstation, 7.1.4 build-385536. I was using my Windows XP SP3 Virtual Machine and then taking a snapshot. In between this process, my laptop battery went down and the screen turned blank. I did a force reboot and after I rebooted, now I am unable to open the Win XP SP3 .vmx file and get the "Dictionary Problem" error.
I have attached the following files:
vmware.log
vmsd and vmx files
I have several snapshots in this VM as well which I want to retain and do not want them to be deleted. Is there a way I could fix these .vmsd and .vmx files to retrieve those snapshots?
