CentOS is the only OS that has this strange behavior no matter which iso (full or mionimal) I use. After configuring the VM to boot off the CentOS iso (I will install the OS later) VMware goess into its DCHP .. thing. Virtualbox recognizes the is as bootable and install CentOS with no problem. Waht am I missinig here. Should I create a VM VMDK diskkl and open it with VMware? What gives here?? Sincet he CentOS DVD is over 5GB it can't be burned to an ordinary blank DVD. If I do burn a miniimal installation to disk and boot from that (the guest that is) VMware handles this fine.
