Okay, I am really new to this VMWare stuff since my boss asked me to virtualize his old machine. Well I looked online and found out how to do it and I did it and it was working. The host is Windows 7 64bit the VM is XP Pro SP3. Well it was working for me and I moved the file to a network location for my boss to boot up to it. Its been about 3-4 weeks now and he calls me up stating that he is getting a disk read error occurred press ctrl+alt+delete. This is the first time he trys it. So I try it myself and it says the same thing. I have already wiped my old bosses computer out and recycled it and need some help getting this thing booted up. Has anyone ran into this and got this issue fixed before. I checked other forums and can only see where they fixed it on a MAC machine. Any help is much appreciated.
