Drag & Drop issue with Workstation 9

Hi I’m running WorkStation 9.0.1 build-894247 on a Windows 8 64 bit host.

I’m having an issue with dragging & dropping files between the host & guest.

Here’s what I’ve found;

• If I run Workstation elevated (ie ‘Run as Administrator’) then I can only drag files from the guest to the host. Dragging files from the host to the guest I simply get the “cannot drop here” mouse cursor.
• If I DON’T run Workstation elevated then I can only drag files from the host to the guest. When dragging files from the guest the mouse cursor stops at the guest window border.

I have all the options set under the VM Guest Isolation settings.

I get the same results with various Windows OS guests as well as Linux.

I’d love to at least know if anyone else is having this problem.

(Running latest Tools 9.2.2)
